Random Harvest propagate and grow, for retail and wholesale, more than 1200 unique indigenous plant species. They sell and ship countrywide as well as to other Southern African countries like Namibia, Botswana and Swaziland.

The retail market is mainly to Gauteng, where they are ardent campaigners for planting indigenous plants and restoring the natural ecosystem for the benefit of future generations.

Product Catalogue

We built a dynamic plant management system to present their plants effectively on the website, and formulated an attribute system to act as a search filter for search requests. In addition we built an image processing system to manage various image sizes for different display areas. We also built the catalogue so that each plant specie would have its own page, and sitemap entry. thus facilitating effective SEO for the catalogue entries.

Not only do we distribute the email newsletter but we also built an effective archive system for the newsletters, so that these now form a part of the website opus.
